About Us

The Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club, (OSBC), is an adult volunteer organization with a mission to work hard to support ALL sports at the Intermediate and High School levels. We raise and donate funds to benefit ALL 21 sports programs. We work with the Athletic Director, coaches and school administration to provide additional coaches, clinics, programs and equipment that may not otherwise be available.

In the last six years, we have raised and donated almost $100,000 per year. We need your support and involvement to accomplish our goal of providing for non-budgeted needs and increasing the “Spirit” at Oconomowoc area sporting events. We strongly encourage all Oconomowoc area families to become members.

We are all excited about the completion of the Field House and the overall enhancement of Cooney Sports and are thrilled to be involved in our next athletic venture, the “Athletic Fields Forever” project, (an all-encompassing refurbishing, rebuilding and creating/updating of our outdoor athletic facilities from the Soccer, Baseball, Softball, & Football fields to all the practice fields). 

We raise most of our funds with the programs listed below…

• Concession Sales: Supervisors, team representatives and students organize and operate the concession stands at all major varsity sporting events ~ football, boys & girls basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, gymnastics and soccer as well as many junior varsity and freshman events.
• Cooney Gold Card Sales: This credit-card sized discount card is available each August and is good through the following summer. It enables the purchaser to receive “freebees” and discounts at local and national chain businesses. The card is only $20 and can be purchased from the athletic office in the high school.
• Sports Program Guide: The Program Guide contains information and photos of our athletes as well as advertisements from local businesses supporting Cooney Athletics and is produced three times per year, (fall, winter and spring). If you are interested in advertising, (for anywhere from $30 to $2,000 per year), in our Program Guide or would like any information please contact me at pkopy_russ@email.com or by phone at 262 567 7529. An estimated 20,000 spectators have access to this publication.
• Golf Outing: Our annual outing is held each summer at a local course & this year served over 110 participants. Enjoy Golf, lunch, dinner, beverages & many prizes. Check your local newspapers for more info or contact Chad VandeZande @ 262 569 7481 or cvandezande@centerpoint-prop.com

Membership

Membership in the OSBC is only $20 per school year per family ($10 per individual).

Membership entitles your entire family to attend the annual Tailgate Party, (held this year on Friday Night, September 17th, before the Watertown Football game) at the stadium.

We publish the OSBC newsletter quarterly, which highlights our local athletes and their accomplishments.

We would love to have 100% participation in the Booster Club by Oconomowoc area families.
